Mary Tucker joined the MLS Delivery Team as a clerk and substitute driver in January of 2008. Before joining MLS, Mary worked for an import company as their showroom coordinator. In this position she merchandised the company’s products for them in showrooms around the Chicago area. Native to Illinois and specifically to Chicago’s Southside, she has recently moved to the western suburbs and is learning her way around. Although a Southsider born and raised, she is not a White Sox fan.

Her family is also in the Chicago area. Mary remarried this past December and that led to her move to the west. Her grown children, a son and a daughter are in Chicagoland. Her hobbies include golfing, walking, and listening to oldies.

Please be sure to say hello to Mary as you come through the Delivery and sorting area on your way to programs in Burr Ridge.

A few fun facts about Mary:

• She is from a large family and she has 6 brothers and 6 sisters. She is child #6 of the twelve siblings.
• Her daughter has been chosen for Teach for America and will be going to Texas for three years.
• Mary claimed that she is a “pretty good cook” and likes to prepare gourmet recipes. She enjoys reading cookbooks and we hope that she will use us for her “test kitchen”.
